Overview

This eight-day circuit is run by SKR Reisen and guided entirely in German, with a group of 4 to 16 travellers aged 18 or over. The price on the booking page covers a return flight from Frankfurt, accommodation, a guide, meals, transport and additional services. You arrive through Dubrovnik and transfer to Petrovac, where the first evening brings a welcome dinner.

Early days cover Budva's old town and a boat trip around Sveti Nikola and Sveti Stefan, then a loop inland to Podgorica, Cetinje and the village of Njegusi, with a winery lunch and a ham and cheese picnic along the way. Day 4 is left free in Petrovac. The back half shifts to the mountains and water: a train ride on the Bar to Kolasin line, Biogradska Gora National Park with its glacial lake, Moraca Monastery, olive oil tasting in Bar and a boat trip on Lake Skutari.

The final day is the busiest, taking in the Lustica Peninsula, Tivat, Perast with a boat out to Gospa od Škrpjela, and Kotor's UNESCO-protected old town, before a farewell dinner in Budva. Departure on Day 8 runs back through Dubrovnik and on to Frankfurt. It suits German-speaking travellers who want a structured week with food, transport and flights handled.

What To Expect From The Tour

The listing gives a clear picture of how the week runs, so most of what you need to know before booking comes down to language, pace and what is already paid for.

Common issues. This summary is based on the listing itself rather than traveller quotes, so the honest picture comes from the listing itself. The German-only guiding and the 18-plus age floor will exclude many travellers outright. Additional services are optional extras, paid separately from the tour price, so it is worth checking the booking page for exactly what falls outside the package before paying. Optional activities, such as the free time on the Lustica Peninsula and the Day 4 excursions, come at extra cost.
